02On Board

What to expect during your time on the boat — cabins, meals, crew, and daily rhythm.

Each cabin has a private bathroom, air conditioning, and daily housekeeping. Cabin sizes vary by vessel — check the Fleet page for specific layouts.

Yes. Our vessels are equipped with Starlink satellite internet, giving you reliable coverage even in remote bays. It's included free with your booking.

Days start early with sunrise hikes or dives, followed by breakfast on deck. Mornings and afternoons alternate between snorkeling, island visits, and beach stops. Evenings are for sunset drinks, dinner, and stargazing.

Each vessel carries between 6 and 12 crew, including a captain, cruise director, certified dive guides, chef, and hospitality staff. Crew-to-guest ratio is typically 1:2.

03Destinations

Where our cruises sail, what makes each region special, and how itineraries are designed.

Most cruises depart from Labuan Bajo on Flores Island. Longer expedition routes may begin or end in Maumere, Bali, or Lombok depending on the itinerary.

Almost certainly, yes. Every Komodo National Park itinerary includes a guided ranger walk on either Komodo or Rinca Island, where dragons are reliably observed in the wild.

Private charters can be fully customised. Shared cruises follow a fixed route to ensure all guests have a consistent experience, but the cruise director can adjust timing within reason.

Yes. Expedition cruises run to Alor, Raja Ampat, the Banda Sea, and the Forgotten Islands. These longer voyages typically range from 8 to 14 nights.

04Safety

Vessel certification, crew training, and how we keep guests safe at sea.

All vessels in our fleet are SOLAS-compliant and certified by the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation. Annual safety audits, fire systems, and life-raft capacity exceed local requirements.

Most of our routes sail through sheltered waters between islands, so motion is minimal. We carry seasickness remedies on board, and the crew can advise on the smoothest cabin location if needed.

Cruise directors and dive guides are trained in first aid and emergency oxygen administration. For longer expeditions, a paramedic is included in the crew.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. We can suggest reputable providers — please reach out before booking if you'd like a recommendation.

05Weather & Season

When to sail, what conditions to expect, and what happens if weather turns.

April through November is the dry season, with calm seas and excellent visibility. December through March can bring rain and stronger winds, but underwater visibility often remains good.

Safety is non-negotiable. If we cancel a departure, you receive a full refund or free reschedule to a later date — your choice.

Sea temperatures stay between 26 and 29°C year-round, so a rash guard is usually all you need for snorkeling. A 3mm wetsuit is provided for divers.

06Dietary

How we handle special diets, allergies, and food preferences on board.

Yes. Our chefs prepare a fresh vegetarian or vegan option at every meal. Just flag your preference at booking.

Severe allergies (nuts, shellfish, gluten) can be accommodated with advance notice. Please tell us at booking so we can plan provisioning before departure from Labuan Bajo.

Most ingredients on board are halal by default — Indonesia is a majority-Muslim country and our crew sources accordingly. Pork is never served. We can confirm halal-certified provisioning on request.
